Dialpad and Lab42 Research conducted a survey on cloud communication adoption rates and changing expectations in the workplace. We asked more than 1,000 business professionals to share their insights on their company’s business communication strategy in 2016. Insights include:

• 65% say they have a “desk phone optional” work environment
• ⅓ of workers believe the desk phone will disappear in two to three years
• 89% believe their business phone system should integrate with apps like Salesforce, Google Apps for Work, Office 365, and be able to text mobile devices and external clientele
